 The Hampton Inn

Located adjacent to the Fernandina Harbor Marina, the downtown Hampton Inn
is ideally situated for those planning to take a
fishing charter or other
boating activities. Furthermore, the downtown Hampton Inn is
within walking distance of several fine dining establishments and the
shopping district of historic Centre Street. Two restaurants, Le Clos (904) 261-8100 and Joe's 2nd Street Bistro
(904)321-2558, are literally right outside the Second Street entrance to
the downtown Hampton Inn. (Please note: another Hampton Inn is
located on the other side of the island, on Sadler Road, so don't confuse
these two separate hotels).
The facade of the downtown Hampton Inn is
atypical of Hampton Inn hotels, as it was custom-designed to fit in with
the surrounding architectural flavor of Fernandina's historic
district.
The hotel offers a complimentary 50+ item
breakfast buffet, as well as some rooms with fireplaces and oversized
whirlpools. With 100 guest rooms, this hotel offers the largest number of
rooms in
the historic downtown area.
