The relaxing voyage takes approximately one hour and features live narration of the region's history, natural features and wildlife. The new ferry service will link the two areas and allow visitors to spend time in each of these historic cities. Also new on Amelia, the Amelia River Golf Club has upgraded its golf carts to an all-electric fleet featuring Global Satellite Positioning Systems (GPS) by Prolink. The upgrade gives golfers the newest and most up-to-date carts golf has to offer. The GPS system allows golfers to better navigate the course and aids in shot selection and pace of play. Additionally, the equipment allows players to contact the Pro Shop for emergency assistance, to request a ranger, and to call the beverage cart.
