Jammin with Jane -- A Lively Course in Chamber Music

Dr. Jane Lindberg will present her lively, one-woman, one-night course in chamber music appreciation. No reservation is needed and the class is free to the public. It will be held May 20, 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church at 7:00 PM.

Dr. Jane, an Adjunct Professor of Music History at Jacksonville University and director of the First Presbyterian Church choir, will review the festival program, composers, and instruments. To enhance your musical experience, she will present ideas on how to list and even what to pay special attention to during this season's performances. Bring your questions and jam with Jane May 20th!

The 2004 Chamber Music Festival season begins May 30 at 2:00 with a free concert at Central Park featuring the Jacksonville Brass Quintet. Other free concerts over a three week period include the new coffee concert series, June 3rd with Cho-Liang Lin and June 12 with the Resident Young Artists. Season 2004 presents 26 concerts and 56 musicians, both returning friends and new stars.
